Good week at the BIEMH
BIEMH is the largest meeting on machine tools, Industry 4.0 and advanced manufacturing in the country and one of the most important in Europe.
Last week we were enjoying what we like and what we are good at. Hunting and Fishing. Selling (and Learning).
Not all of our customers have commercial interests in this show but it was for our "moulders", foundries, 3D manufacturers, engine manufacturers, machinists and stampers, and various companies with related industry activities that we work with.
Two Onura teams participated directly in the fair at the stands of two SMEs from Gipuzkoa (in the Advanced Manufacturing area), as part of our Commercial Outsourcing service, attending to a multitude of companies, some known and many unknown, who visited us at the stand (Fishing).
On Monday we started with great expectations but with a low number of visitors. It was a good day for the first prospecting and making contact. Tuesday was quite positive and Wednesday and Thursday were the decisive days.
In addition, we also went hunting. A large part of the work at the Fair was done by leaving the stand and going to visit companies we were interested in working with that were also exhibiting and that we had previously "selected" and in many cases pre-contacted.
It is key to get out of the stand. Get to know, see what others do and how they do it and interact: Learning and "Networking". Visit current, past and potential customers: Loyalty + Prospecting (Hunting).
After 5 days of commercial work and 112km travelled by the whole team (data provided by the Health Apps on our phones) we are already working on the Post Fair to visit our clients' customers at their homes and talk business. We are still hunting.
